It’s almost that time of year when our national past time sport, Baseball will be back and for those in Chicago, especially those living in the Wrigleyville area that means the Chicago Cubs will be playing baseball in the home since 1914 that has built a entertainment industry around the fame Wrigley Field baseball park.

Those of you who have been to the ball park know the huge amount of revenue each home game brings to the area in the form of customers to the local bars, parking, eateries, taxi drivers, and Wrigleyville Condos and apartments.

Wrigleyville is legendary known for their rooftop patios homes.  Due to the configurations of Wrigley Field the homes adjacent to the ball park were able to view the baseball games from their homes.  Especially if you were on any top floor units or had a roof top patio in your condo or apartment.

In the years in which the Cubs were doing well and tickets were hard to come by, many enterprising home owners renovated their rooftop patios to add seats and cooking facilities to turn their homes into revenue generating locations to view Cubs games.

In fact, in some neighborhoods, it’s become cooler to watch the games from the rooftop then to go to fame Wrigley Field itself.  The result of this popularity is that the Wrigleyville neighborhood has increased in property value and become a socially popular area to live in.
